Terms of service
When you place an order with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
Be at least 16 years old; have a credit or debit card that we accept and be authorised to use that credit or debit card (e.g. it is in your name or you have permission to use it).
When you place an order, you should receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your order. We only accept your order once payment has been approved and we have debited the payment card. You cannot cancel your cancel order once it has been placed. You would have to follow the refund process to receive a refund.
All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. If there’s an issue with an order, we’ll get in touch with you.
Very occasionally, we may need to refuse or cancel an order or close or freeze an account (even if we have previously confirmed your order) – e.g. if we notice something unusual on an order or an account.
If this happens to you and you think we’ve made a mistake, please get in touch with our team and we’ll be happy to speak to you about it.
Before you finalise your order, you’ll be given various delivery options to choose from. We try our best to meet all delivery times but sometimes there may be delays – e.g. because of postal/carrier delays, logistics or bad weather.
If you benefitted from a "FREE DELIVERY" promotion and decide to make a return, we reserve the right to deduct the initial cost of delivery and any associated packaging and processing costs prior to issuing a refund. All delivery costs that are paid by the customer are non refundable. We will only refund for the cost of the items.
We reserve the right to reject any returns on orders that have been returned to us without approval or have not been sent in line with the return instructions that were sent to you. If the courier has to return an order back to us due to an incorrect delivery address, a refusal to pay customs charge or any other reason, then we may also reject the return or refund.
We cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged or undelivered items. Any delivery issues must be dealt with by yourself as the customer with the appropriate courier that has been used. All orders are protected up to the cost of £50 unless stated otherwise. Any claim must be made by the customer to the relevant courier.
We will not process any requests for a refund if you contact us after our fourteen day return policy.
If you have been issued with a credit note/gift card, you will be only be allowed to exchange your order in line with our returns policy.
We cannot be held responsible if the courier (or destination government) decide to impose any additional taxes (custom charges) or other charges on your order.
Sale items, Fragrances (where the seal/packaging has been removed), Gift wrapping and Gift card purchases are all non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
We reserve the right to alter, change or delete any information on our web pages.
House of Fragrances owns or has permission to use the intellectual property rights in its Website and its content. These rights are protected around the world. All such rights are reserved. You’re allowed to store, print and display our Website content only for your own personal use. You are not allowed to use any part of the Website for commercial purposes unless you have our permission.
You are not allowed to use our logo or any our brand or trade mark (or any marks which are colourably similar) without our permission. We have the right to amend, remove or vary our services and/or any part of the Website (including our T&Cs) at any time.
